Dedicated to the memory of Bernie Bentley
This site is a tribute to Bernie Bentley. She is much loved and will always be remembered.
Bernie sadly passed away in the morning of 8 September 2020, following a long battle with Cancer. She was a true fighter for the whole time and passed peacefully. Her family and friends will miss her greatly but have benefited massively from having her in their lives and are so proud of all she achieved. She had a successful career, gave up countless hours for charitable organisations and even set up her own community support group 'Just Listening to You' which helped so many people with their own mental health struggles.
Bernie and the family want St Luke's Hospice to be supported as much as possible, for all the help they gave us. They are currently building a new hospice, so the timing of this fundraiser is quite handy. Mum really loved the staff of St Luke's and wanted to give back somehow.
